Jamie Lau

With a flair for composition and light, Jamie creates striking imagery documenting people, places, food and drink. His work has gained him much recognition in the industry, in 2014 being commissioned to produce a new photographic series on Liverpool’s Chinatown, which went on to have a permanent display in Whitehall, as well as receiving a commission from the British Library to explore Chinese identity in rural Britain. This particular series of large-scale photographic prints was on display at the Library throughout 2023.

Jamie draws on his experience in food, drink, portrait and corporate photography to create engaging videos for many well-known UK brands. Jamie provides a range of video content, from interviews, to recipe videos.
